Celebrating the 72nd birthday of PM Narendra Modi on Saturday, the Paradip Port Authority (PPA) conducted a slew of philanthropic activities for the local populace.

In the morning, PPA employees under the leadership of Chairman PL Haranadh participated in a mega “Clean Beach, Safe Sea” campaign in association with the local Indian Coast Guard unit.

A precaution dose Covid vaccination camp was held at the PPA Hospital. The Engineering Department conducted a plantation drive at Bhima Bhoia in which various fruit-bearing trees were planted. A health and wellness camp was held at Biswali under supervision of Dr Prahallad Chandra Panda, CMO, PPA Hospital in which large numbers of patients were treated along with conducting of ECG and rapid glucose tests, etc. PPA Deputy Chairman AK Bose was present as guest of honour on all the occasions.
